This book was born out of something deeply meaningful. In the spring of 2022, I lost my father while working in a high-pressure sales job. In the midst of my grief, I made a life-changing decision: I wasn’t going back. I knew I needed to pursue something with purpose.
As I moved through the pain of loss and the process of healing, I had a powerful download to write a children’s book on grief. The title Is Heaven Farther Than the North Pole? was a question my youngest son asked shortly after his biological mother passed away.
With the help and blessing of my boys, we wrote this book together. It’s dedicated to their mother, April, and honors the legacy of my dad. It’s a story born from grief, love, and the desire to create something lasting and heartfelt.
